Sealed Can of Y2K Spaghetti O's

Description

When the world was plunged into social chaos of the new millennium, fearing a Skynet-like apocalypse and nuclear warfare, I was a 10 year-old child who frequently enjoyed some delicious Spaghetti O's. I was even planning on having them as my last meal before the new world. However, we left our home the night of December 31st, 1999 to go to my father's place of work to wait out the possible storm to come, all while these Spaghetti O's remained in our pantry at home. Once we returned home the morning of January 1st, 2000, we were relieved that our relatively boring world had remained the same. This can of Spaghetti O's had sat lonely in the back of our pantry until 2003. That's when I took them to my room and held onto it as a reminder of the fun yet fearful night of the past. Later that year I took them from Ohio to Florida where I spent the next 7 years of my life, until I came back here in 2010, then moved to Florida again in 2011, then came back here in 2013 where the can has remained safely packaged for the last 8 years.

I do not recommend eating these Spaghetti O's. As delicious as they are, I believe father time may have tampered with their integrity. However, since the label was never removed, you may still be a winner. Good luck.
