Description
Dated 1903, this Rookwood Pottery standard glaze vase, shape number 917B, stands 9" tall, has an inside rim to rim opening of 3", and is 4.5" in diameter. On a very pretty brown background colored glaze, it is decorated with large white flowers, green leaves and brown stems. Decorated by Edward T. Hurley, it is in factory original condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marks include the Rookwood Pottery "RP" factory logo, flames, III (date), 917B (shape) and Mr. Hurley's cipher. A lovely Rookwood vase to add to your pottery collection.
