ROOKWOOD POTTERY SCENIC VELLUM LANDSCAPE 9" TALL VASE ROTHENBUSCH 1911

Description

Dated 1911, this Rookwood Pottery Vellum Scenic Landscape vase, hand painted by Fred Rothenbusch, stands 9" tall by 4.5" in diameter. Glazed in a muted blue background color that shades from a darker blue to lighter, it is decorated on all sides with tall trees, branches, and leaves. Marked under base with the Rookwood Pottery "RP" factory logo, date XI, shape number 892C, "V", and Mr Rothenbusch's impressed cipher.  In factory excellent condition, there are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Fine overall crazing. A beautiful vase to add to your Rookwood collection, Arts and Crafts, Mission or Modern pottery collection. If you have any questions, please contact Barbara Gerr Antiques.
