Description

Dated 1915, this Rookwood Pottery Scenic Vellum vase, shape number 1664C, stands 13" tall by approximately 5.5" in diameter. Large and impressive, decorated by Lenore Asbury, the scene shows different views of a landscape. Finished in several shades of blue, it is in excellent original condition. There are no chips, cracks, hairlines, or repairs. Marks include the Rookwood Pottery "RP" factory logo, XV (date), 1664C (shape), V (Vellum) and Ms. Asbury's cipher.
