ROOKWOOD POTTERY 8" TALL POPPY VASE 1907

Description

Dated 1907, this Rookwood Pottery vase stands 8" tall by 4" in diameter. Finished in a beautiful soft green glaze which thins at the high points, both the rim and flowers are glazed in purple. Decorated with poppy flowers, leaves, and stems that extend the full length of the vase. In factory original condition, there are no cracks, chips, hairlines, or repairs. Marked on the base with the Rookwood Pottery factory "RP" logo, VII (date) and shape number 1297. This is a beautiful Arts and Crafts period vase that will make a very nice addition to your Rookwood pottery collection, or any other collection that you may have.
