    Description

One package of GRANDPA RAY'S Homemade Norwegian LEFSE consists of twelve (12) LEFSE rounds that are 7" across. Ingredients are russet potatoes, wheat flour, butter, oil, sweetened condensed milk, sugar and sea salt. The package weighs at least 9 oz.
The best russet potatoes are from ALSUM FARMS & PRODUCE in Wisconsin and always available at my local Aldi's grocery store.
I make your lefse when ordered and it's never frozen. It takes two (2) days to make lefse. You have to peel, cook, mash, and rice the russet potatoes and then let them chill overnight. The next day you add flour, roll them out, cook them on the hot lefse grill and then let the cooked lefse chill before packaging. There is a very intensive "labor of Scandinavian love" involved in this process.
My Norwegian elves and I make the LEFSE fresh in the morning and mail it in the afternoon via USPS Priority Mail or FedEx. This LEFSE is perishable and should be refrigerated upon arrival. It will keep in the refrigerator for at least two (2) weeks and in the freezer up to six (6) months. I combine shipping so there are no EXTRA shipping costs if you order a second package or 10+ packages. You can also pay to overnight the package but that gets really expensive.
    Tusen taak!!! (i.e., Thank you!!)
