Description

Sarah Elizabeth Coyne, often called “Sallie”, was born in 1876.  She began working in the Rookwood Pottery in 1891 at the age of 15.  In her tenure from 1891 to 1939, the year of her death,  she created a beautiful body of work that has an above average interest with collectors.
This vase is one of those beautiful creations.  In excellent original condition, free of any damage, produced in 1919.   Spectacular scenic mountain motif in gorgeous blues, greens, and sunset pink.  Hard to pick a position to display in that it is stunning from every angle.   Stands a perfect 9.5” by 3.5” in diameter.  All appropriate markings on base.  The last two pictures were taken inside for light comparison to outdoors.
