1927 ROOKWOOD Pottery VASE 'GREEK KEY' MATTE GLAZE GREEN VINTAGE SECOND

Description

Offering for purchase a Rookwood Pottery production vase #2135, designed by Albert Munson circa 1914 and cast in 1927, and boasting crisp mold and gorgeous green matt glaze.  This item is marked a second (due to the X on the bottom).  The piece has inconsistent glazing and bubble pops (see pictures), as well as underyling crackelure from top to bottom.  The Rookwood Greek Key Vases are very sought after.  Check other sales/auctions.  This vase is in a particularly gorgeous color.
MINT CONDITION CONSIDERING IT IS A SECOND IT IS IN THE SAME CONDITION IT WAS MADE – IT IS FREE FROM CHIPS AND REPAIRS.
Marked with Rookwood's flame mark, "XXVII" (1927), and shape #2135.
